Nancy Palamara PharmD, RP

Nancy Palamara, Pharm.D., is the Director of Pharmacy Services, Infusion Therapy and MS Center at Holy Name Medical Center (HNMC) in Teaneck, New Jersey where she has been employed since 1992 working previously as a Technician, Clinical Pharmacist, and Assistant Director and Director of Pharmacy. Dr. Palamara earned her Bachelor of Science and Doctorate of Pharmacy in 1996 from The Rutgers College of Pharmacy in New Jersey.

At HNMC Nancy co-chairs the Pain Management Subcommittee and currently serves on the P&T, Patient Safety, Health Information Forms, Readmission Reduction Committees, and is the lead for several patient safety goals. In 2016, she took over operational management of the Infusion Center at HNMC and in 2018 assumed the role of Director of the MS Center (an MS dedicated infusion department and physician practice). As an extension of her work at Holy Name, Nancy expanded her practice in 2015 to a 125-bed hospital in northern Haiti where she collaborates with the pharmacy and administration working primarily on formulary and operational issues.

Nancy served as the 2017-2018 President of the New Jersey Society of Health-System Pharmacists and maintains continued involvement with NJSHP as a member of several Committees and a mentor for the Council on Technician Affairs. She has presented at the 2017 NJSHP Annual Meeting and the 2018 Tristate Summit.
