Nancy M. Joseph MD, PhD

Dr. Nancy M. Joseph, MD, PhD, is a Professor of Pathology at the University of California, San Francisco, specializing in surgical and molecular pathology. She is affiliated with multiple leading clinical centers, including UCSF Parnassus Heights, UCSF Mount Zion, Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital, and the San Francisco VA Health Care System.

Dr. Joseph’s clinical expertise spans gastrointestinal, gynecologic, and thoracic pathology, with a particular focus on integrating molecular diagnostics with traditional histopathology to improve tumor classification and diagnostic accuracy. Her work plays a key role in advancing precision medicine approaches in cancer diagnosis and care.
