Nam H. Cho MD, PhD

Prof. Nam Cho worked as President of the International Diabetes Federation and professor of Preventive Medicine at the Ajou University School of Medicine in South Korea. HE is working as a Professor of Preventive Medicine at Ajou University School of Medicine.

Prof. Nam Cho is a world-renowned diabetes epidemiologist, who has published over 80 peer-reviewed papers on type-1 & type-2 diabetes and gestational diabetes. He is also the founder of the type-1 diabetes registry in Korea and is also responsible for estimating the prevalence of type 2 diabetes for the Korean population. He has published over 200 peer-reviewed papers on type 1 diabetes, type 2 diabetes, and gestational diabetes.

He worked as President of IDF is on education around non-communicable diseases. His mission is to raise awareness of diabetes in under-developed countries and increase free access to medicine in these countries.
