Dr. Nadine Hwamdualige has served as a clinical assistant professor at Brown University since 2018 and before that, worked as a Newborn Inpatient Provider at Women and Infants Hospital in 2016. She is currently the Medical Director for the Providence Community Health Centers, the state’s largest health center network. Hewamudalige is a fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) and a Diplomat of the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM). She also served on the Board of Directors for the Care Transformation Collaborative of Rhode Island.

Hewamudalige attended the University of British Columbia for Life Sciences and Family Studies, earning her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in 2012. She then held several roles at Penn State Health Milton S. Hersey Medical Center, serving as Chief Resident, Family Medicine Resident, and Chief Administrative Resident from 2013 to 2016.
