Nada Hindiyeh, MD, FAHS, is a board-certified neurologist and headache specialist and currently serves as the Director of Headache Medicine at Metrodora Institute. She was previously a Clinical Associate Professor of Neurology at Stanford University, where she was the Director of Clinical Research for the Stanford Division of Headache Medicine and served as principal investigator for numerous clinical trials.
She was awarded the 2013 Clinical Research Fellowship in Neurotoxins by the American Academy of Neurology, where she investigated a diagnostic screening protocol for chronic migraine. She is currently a member of the American Headache Society (AHS), serves as co-chair of the AHS Electronic Media Committee, and was selected as an AHS Emerging Leader in 2017. She is also a member of the International Headache Society and serves as Executive Vice-President of the World Headache Society.
She earned her medical degree from the University of Toledo College of Medicine in Toledo, Ohio. She completed both her internship and neurology residency at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center, where she served as chief resident. She then completed a fellowship in Headache and Facial Pain at Stanford University School of Medicine. She worked as a headache specialist in the Department of Neurology at Stanford for nine years.
