Myung Hee Park has been chief of the Molecular and Cellular Biochemistry Section, Oral and Pharyngeal Cancer Branch since 1998. She leads a research group exploring the role of polyamines and a polyamine-modified cellular protein, eukaryotic translation initiation factor 5A (eIF5A) in eukaryotic protein synthesis, cell proliferation and tumorigenesis.
