Myrna Abi Abdallah Doumit PhD, RN, FAAN, MPH, BSN

Dr. Myrna Doumit joined the Lebanese American University in February 2011, as Assistant Dean of the Alice Ramez Chagoury School of Nursing. She came to the University with 21 years of experience in academic nursing. Dr. Myrna Doumit is a qualitative researcher. Her research interests are focused on oncology, quality of life and quality of care. She is the author of the first qualitative research studies describing the experience of Lebanese cancer patients. Dr. Doumit is currently involved in several interdisciplinary collaborrative studies with faculty in different universities. She is also a member on two national committees: Breast Cancer Awareness and Palliative Care and Pain under the Ministry of Health.
