Mustapha Zidi is a university professor in Biomechanics at the Faculty of Health, responsible for the Master 2 Bioengineering for Health course and co-director of EA 7377 Bioengineering, Tissues, and Neuroplasticity (BIOTN).
After beginning his industrial career within a large aeronautics group as a design engineer, he was recruited in the early 1990s at the Faculty of Science and Technology from the University of Paris 12 as a lecturer. In the early 2000s, he was appointed project manager to set up, with the CCIP and its ESIEE school, the first engineering training at the University of Paris 12 (now UPEC), the Higher Institute of Biosciences ( ISBS) who obtained his accreditation from the Commission des Titres d'Ingénieur in 2004 and his rehabilitation in 2007. He directed this engineering course until 2008.
Mustapha Zidi has sat for several years on various councils or commissions, including the technical committee, the EPISEN council, and the UPEC research commission.
He is also elected to the National Council for Higher Education and Research ( CNESER) in 2007 and has chaired its disciplinary section since 2011. He has been a member of the National Council for Higher Education and Agricultural, Agrifood and Veterinary Research (CNESERAAV), the National Commission for Health Studies, and the CNU (Section 60). He was Vice-President of Strategy and Development of UPEC from 2018 to 2022.
