Dr. Pakyurek is board certified in general psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry. He is the medical director of the UC Davis Medical Center Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences outpatient clinic. Dr. Pakyurek’s clinical and research interests include autism spectrum disorders in children, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and mood disorders. He is also interested in education of psychiatry residents and service delivery systems for psychiatric populations. Dr. Pakyurek is currently involved in providing psychiatric care for children with autism and ADHD at the UC Davis M.I.N.D. Institute.
