Muhammad Khan PhD

Muhammad Tahir Khan did his Masters in Microbiology and Ph.D. in Bioinformatics at Capital University of Science and Technology, Islamabad. He is working as Research Scientist at the Zhongjing Research and Industrialization Institute of Chinese Medicine, Zhongguancun Scientific Park, Meixi, Nanyang, Henan, 473006, P.R. China, and also as an Assistant Professor and Coordinator of Bioinformatics at the University of Lahore. He also visited Shanghai Jiao Tong University of China for advanced studies in Microbial Bioinformatics.

Dr. Muhammad Tahir Khan is also a member of the young editorial board of (SPRINGER NATURE). He is also a member of the research committee of the one belt one road international project (Shanghai-Belgrade-Islamabad) joint innovation center for microbial drug resistance. As teamwork, we filed two patents and published 53 research articles (Impact factor 160). In 2021, his article on marine compounds was awarded as the most cited article by the Ministry of Science and Technology China. His main research projects include microbial genomes including SARS-CoV-2 and the mechanism of drug resistance in tuberculosis.
