Dr. Azam Kakar is a Reproductive bio-technologist by training, with a Ph.D from the University of Adelaide South Australia. For his doctoral studies he worked on nutritional effects on ewe reproduction (quality of oocyte and embryo) in Reproductive Technology Lab. Animal Science Department, Roseworthy Campus Uni of Adelaide, South Australia, and Turretfield, South Australian Research & Development Institute (SARDI) Rosedale, South Australia. He was also responsible and part of the team that created the first Australian Clone Sheep “MATILDA” using somatic cells in March at Turretfield Research Centre, Rosedale, South Australia. He is particularly interested in issues of health, gender, water, environment, reproductive biotechnology, and science communication. This helped a lot his young scientists from this remote area and encouraged other young may be stimulated to follow his footprints. He has already crossed 100 Impact Factor. He has written 14 Books, Reports and 3 CDs, and 116 publications in top peer-review impact factor journals
