Mrinal Pahwa DNB, MS, MBBS

Dr. Mrinal Pahwa is one of the leading consultants in Urology and Renal Transplant at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital. He completed his graduation (MBBS) from Maulana Azad Medical College in 2003. He went on to join the same institute for pursuing MS in General Surgery in 2005. He finished his residency in Urology at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in 2012. He was awarded the prestigious Dr.H.S Bhat Gold Medal for the year 2012 by the National Board of Examination. He further underwent robotic training at Roswell Park Cancer Center, Buffalo, USA to enhance his skills. He also did observership at Florida Hospital, USA, and Keck School of Medicine, Los Angeles, USA.

He has vast experience in dealing with various kinds of Urological cases and is very well versed in performing all kinds of Urologic procedures ranging from endourology, laparoscopic, open, robotic surgery, and renal transplant. He is equally competent and capable of performing latest state of the art surgeries like RIRS (Stone treatment by laser and flexible scopes), mini PCNL (very small incision treatment of stone), HoLEP (Prostate surgery using Laser), advanced laparoscopic and Robotic Surgery(Surgery using Medical Robot). He forms an integral part of a well-experienced Renal Transplant team at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital.

Dr.Mrinal Pahwa has also been involved in active research and the numerous publications in international journals bear testimony to this fact. He has also served as a reviewer for many international journals and is also privileged to be on the editorial board of various journals.

He is actively involved in continuously updating his knowledge and has attended many national and international conferences as faculty. He has also delivered oral presentations on various topics on numerous occasions.
