Mostafa Shokoohi PhD

Mostafa is a research manager at the Regional Knowledge Hub, and WHO Collaborating Centre for HIV Surveillance affiliated with the Kerman University of Medical Sciences. His main interests are HIV surveillance, high-risk groups for HIV (i.e. Injecting drug users, vulnerable women, prisoners), population size estimation of hidden groups, and sexually transmitted infections. Currently, we are working on the second round of national bio-behavioral surveillance among vulnerable women in Iran aimed to estimate HIV prevalence, STI prevalence, and the frequency of risky behaviors. He has published nearly 40 papers in English and 30 in Persian.
