Mostafa Nabawy MSc, PhD, FHEA

Dr. Mostafa R. A. Nabawy, MSc, Ph.D., FHEA is a Lecturer in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical, and Aeronautical Engineering Division L5 at the University of Manchester. He has contributed to numerous theoretical developments and engineering demonstration projects. In particular, Mostafa has extensive expertise in developing experimentally validated analytical models for fluid mechanics and micro-actuation/sensing dynamics, and integration of these models into novel closed-form design processes allowing the development of efficient microsystems. His interests involve design procedures, theoretical modeling, validation through experiments, and the development of an understanding of how to optimize materials selection, geometric configurations, actuation strategies, and systems integration for novel concepts.
