Dr Moshe Perl was born and reared in Melbourne. He received his training in psychology in the United States, specialising in Clinical Psychology, with Behavioural Medicine and Neuropsychology as subspecialties, completing his Ph.D. in 1982 at the University of North Texas.
After working in the United States for ten years he returned to Australia, where he continued his practice. He has worked extensively in schools, as well as at the Children’s Court, as an expert Forensic Psychologist. He took additional training in family therapy, as well as Hakomi Therapy, a body centred psychotherapy.
In 1998 Dr Perl began using neurofeedback in his clinical practice, and found it to be an effective tool to help people with a variety of disorders, including ADHD, learning difficulties, depression, sleep disturbances, anxiety, panic, migraine, autistic spectrum disorders and acquired brain injuries.
