Morten Breindahl MD, PhD

Morten Breindahl is the President of ESN (the European Society for Neonatology). ESN is the official European society for neonatologists, working to promote research in neonatology, educational opportunities for trainees in neonatology, and trained neonatologists undergoing CPD (Continuous Professional Development).

Morten Breindahl holds a PhD and is a consultant neonatologist at the Department of Neonatology at the National University Hospital in Copenhagen, Denmark (level IV NICU), a certified ECMO (Extra Corporeal Membrane Oxygenation) intensivist, and the Medical Director for NEO-PETS (the Neonatal and Paediatric Emergency Transport Service).He has recently established INFANTS (INternational Federation of Acute Neonatal Transport Services), an organisation with the mission to establish a world-wide cooperation for all neonatal transport teams in order to improve quality of care and treatment to severely ill infants in need for interfacility ground or air transfer.
