Monique F. Araya, M.D. is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is the Clinical Chief of Pediatrics at Cedars Sinai Medical Center. After completing her undergraduate education at UC Davis, Dr. Araya earned her medical doctorate from St. George’s University. In 2000, Dr. Araya completed her Pediatric Residency in Cleveland, Ohio at Case Western Reserve University Hospitals.
Dr. Araya has been in private practice for 18 years and is very involved in the larger medical community. She is a member of numerous Cedars Sinai Medical Foundation committees and is on the leadership council of Cedars Sinai Health Associates. Dr. Araya is active in leadership at Cedars Sinai Medical Center and sits on the Pediatric Improvement, the Well -Being, and on the hospital’s Medical Executive Committees. She volunteers as a doctor at a sleep away camp in Southern California each summer and has spent time volunteering overseas.
