Monica Islam MD

Monica P. Islam, MD, is an attending pediatric neurologist at Nationwide Children's Hospital and an Associate Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. She is the Director of the Epilepsy Program, Director of the Tuberous Sclerosis Complex Clinic, and the Director of the Evoked Potential and Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring Program at Nationwide Children's Hospital. Dr. Islam completed her fellowship training in neurophysiology with an emphasis on EEG/epilepsy. She is actively involved in resident, fellow, and community education. Her clinical interests include epilepsy/seizures, neurophysiologic intraoperative monitoring, and neurocutaneous syndromes.
