Dr. Federoff is a board-certified general adult psychiatrist practicing at the CalPsychiatry San Diego La Jolla, Echo Park, and Little Tokyo offices. She is passionate about treating patients holistically with a variety of psychiatric disorders including mood and anxiety disorders, women’s reproductive mental health, sleep disorders, OCD, and ADHD. She values a personalized yet integrative approach to patient care and wellness, including lifestyle modifications, behavioral therapy, and pharmacologic-based treatments.
Dr. Federoff earned her Ph.D. in neurogenetics from University College London, MD from the University of California Irvine, and completed her psychiatry residency at the University of California San Diego. She received specialized training in women’s reproductive mental health, treatment-resistant mood disorders, and psychiatric collaborative primary care, while further developing her strong foundation in research to better understand the biological mechanisms underlying patients’ symptoms.
Dr. Federoff values developing a strong rapport with her patients, ensuring patients feel validated throughout an emotionally vulnerable experience. She focuses on getting to know her patients through kindness, compassion, and integrity, working together as a team to develop the most appropriate, effective, and individualized treatment plan.
