Monica Dus was an assistant professor at the University of Michigan. She heads a research lab in the field of neuroepigenetics, where they study the effects of high dietary sugar on brain and behavior. She teaches BIO 305 Genetics every fall term, and MCDB 458 Neuroepigenetics in the winter term. She actively involved in outreach and science communication, and she was the host of the podcast How to Science.
