Mona Gupta MD, PhD, FRCPC

Dr. Gupta, MD, PhD, FRCPC, is a psychiatrist and researcher at CHUM in Montreal. She is assistant research professor at the Department of Psychiatry at the Université de Montréal. His fields of interest are bioethics and the philosophy of psychiatry. Dr. Gupta has published extensively on the subject of evidence-based medicine in psychiatry and related ethical issues. A book on this topic will be published by Oxford University Press in 2014. Dr. Gupta is actively involved in the bioethics community. She is a member of the editorial board of Bioethics Online and the Journal of Ethics and Mental Health. She is also a member of the Bioethics Committee of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
