Mona Boaz PhD

Prof. Mona Boaz is an epidemiologist whose research focuses on nutrition as a risk factor for morbidity and mortality outcomes. She has more than 200 scientific publications in top nutrition and medical journals serve on the editorial board of several scientific periodicals and has contributed to the development of international dietary guidelines for hemodialysis patients.

Prof. Boaz serves as the Associate Dean for International Projects in The School of Health Sciences and as Head of Graduate Studies in the Nutrition Sciences Department, Department of Nutrition Sciences, Ariel University. She teaches courses in epidemiology, statistics and research methods to both nutrition students and medical students and serves as the Advisor to the University President on Promoting Women in Academia, and as Advisor to the Rector on International Programs.
