Mohammed Shaheen MD, MSc, FACS, FRCSC

Dr. Shaheen recently joined us in 2019 after obtaining general surgery residency training board certification at McGill University, Canada, and did further training in Abdominal Transplantation Surgery at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN, USA. He is enthusiastic about education, healthcare awareness, and research. He launched the SHARC (SHaheen Advancing Research Crew) research initiative with our undergraduate students who are now working on several research projects. His areas of interest are related to transplant care, surgical education, and combating scientific misinformation and pseudo-scientific claims.
