Mohammed Saeed, MD, Elected ACP Fellow by the American College of Physicians
Mohammed Saeed, MD, FACP, has been elected a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (ACP). The distinction recognizes achievements in internal medicine, the specialty of prevention, detection, and treatment of illnesses in adults.
Saeed was elected upon the recommendation of peers and the review of the ACP's Credentials Subcommittee. The recognition will be formally indicated by the letters "FACP" following his name, and is considered a mark of esteem from colleagues who recognize accomplishments and achievements over and above the practice of medicine. Fellows are recognized for exemplifying the mission and goals of the American College of Physicians in their professional lives in the following areas:

The mission of the American Medical Directors Certification Program (AMDCP) is to recognize and advance physician leadership and excellence in medical direction throughout the long-term care continuum via certification. The Certified Medical Director in Long Term Care (AMDA CMD) recognizes the dual clinical and managerial roles of the medical director. The CMD credential reinforces the leadership role of the medical director in promoting quality care and offers an indicator of professional competence to long term care providers, government, quality assurance agencies, consumers, and the general public.
