Mohammed Khalil MD, FACC, FASE

Mohammed Khalil, MD, is a Staff Physician in the Heart & Vascular Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Khalil was a Staff Cardiologist and the Director of Imaging Services at Unity Point Health in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, US.

A native of Jordan, Dr. Khalil graduated from medical school at the University of Jordan before moving to the US to pursue his postgraduate studies, beginning with specialty training in Internal Medicine at the Bronx Lebanon Hospital, Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City, US. Following this, he completed three years of subspecialty training in Cardiovascular Disease at Montefiore Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City, US.

Dr. Khalil's research focuses on modalities to improve diagnostic imaging quality. He holds several American Board certifications, including in Cardiovascular Diseases, Echocardiography and Nuclear Cardiology. Dr. Khalil enjoys spending his free time with his wife and three children.
