Dr. Bardi completed his Internal Medicine and Rheumatology training at the University of British Columbia. He was Chief of Internal Medicine in 2017. Additional training included a fellowship in musculoskeletal ultrasound through the American College of Rheumatology USSONAR program. Further, he trained internationally in the use of ultrasound to assess large vessel vasculitis from leading pioneers in Norway and the UK.
Dr. Bardi is a Clinical Instructor at the University of British Columbia (UBC) and an active rheumatologist staff at Vancouver General and St. Paul's Hospital. He is part of the Vasculitis Clinic at Mary Pack Arthritis Center. He has helped create and operate the Giant Cell Arteritis Fast Track Clinic, for which he was awarded the BC Society of Rheumatology Award for Innovation in 2021. His ongoing research is in the areas of ultrasound in assessing large-vessel vasculitis and the diagnostic role of musculoskeletal ultrasound in inflammatory and non-inflammatory joint diseases.
