Mohammad Farris is a medical lecturer and psychiatrist who work at Advanced Medical and Dental Institute, Universiti Sains Malaysia. He focuses on research in the field of kratom addiction and complications, kratom psychological effects, posttraumatic growth in cancer, and depressive and anxiety disorders. His clinical work centered around the treatment of patients with psychiatric illnesses (psychotic disorders, depressive and anxiety disorders, bipolar mood disorder, OCD and related disorders, trauma-related disorders, sleep disorders, personality disorders, ADHD, etc.) and drug/substance addiction (opioid, methamphetamine, kratom, and alcohol).
