Dr Mohamed Razif is the Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in Arthroscopic Reconstructive Surgery and Sports Medicine at the University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur. He qualified from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh for the FRCS. Qualified in Sports Medicine from University Malaya (1998 ) and the Trinity College, Dublin, Republic of Ireland ( 1996). Initially, he served as an Orthopaedic Specialist and Lecturer in Trauma and Fracture Orthopaedic Surgery in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Faculty of Medicine, University Malaya (1992 to 2003).
Later, he served as Head of the Sports Medicine Department, University Malaya and developed to its current expanded scale and administration ( 2003 to 2013 ). Presently, he is still serving as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon running the Sports Surgery and Research Service with continued Consultative and Academic Service to the Sports Medicine Department, University Malaya. He participated in the AOSSM Fellowship ( American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine) with scientific paper presentations in the USA in the year 200(). He participated in Shoulder Surgery in the St. George Hospital, part of the University of New South Wales ( UNSW), Sydney, Australia 2008-2009. He participated in research on the Biomechanics of running and athletics at Cardiff Metropolitan University, Wales, the United Kingdom in 2014 and 2015. Special interests are Knee Orthopaedics & Biomechanics.
