Mohamed H. Khadra AO B Med, Grad Dip Comp, M Ed, PhD, FAICD, FRACS

Mohamed H Khadra is a Professor of Surgery at the University of Sydney and Head of Department of Urology at the Nepean Hospital, a major teaching hospital of the University of Sydney. He is Director of Strategy and Innovation at Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District and Chair of the Final Examinations of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in Urology.

His practice encompasses the full range of urological disease and with a particular interest and expertise in prostate cancer diagnosis and surgery, robotic surgery and male incontinence. It is based at the Nepean Public and Private Hospitals as well as Westmead Private Hospital. He sees patients in both Penrith and Katoomba.

He has numerous major research articles to his name in the fields of Urology and Education. He has received the inaugural Bruce Pearson Fellowship, the Alban Gee Prize and the prestigious Noel Newton Medal in Surgery. In addition to his work in Medicine, he has degrees in computing from Deakin University and a Master’s in Education from the University of Sydney. He also has a PhD from the University of Sydney. He has received Alumni Medals from the University of Sydney and the University of Newcastle.
