Modi Naftali

Dr. Modi Naftali is an Attending Physician and Optical Surgeon in the Ophthalmology Deprtment at Rambam Health Care Campus. Dr. Naftali graduated with honors from the Rappaport Faculty of Medicine of the Technion-Israel Institue of Technology. At Rambam, he specializes in cornea and cataract surgeries.

Prior to coming to Rambam, Dr. Naftali was Director of the Ophthalmology Unit at Poriah Hospital, and headed the Cornea Clinic and Bank at Haemek Hospital. He also headed the Ophthalmology Institute for the Maccabi HMO in Haifa. In parallel, he established “Karnit”, a biomedical startup within the technology incubator at Zemach. Dr. Naftali has volunteered in Africa and East Europe, and contributed to the establishment of an optometry hospital as an active partner of the Lions Club fund in Chicago. Currently, he volunteers as the Medical Director of "Ain Mizion" (Eye of Zion) organization.
