Mitzi Wasik PharmD, BCPS, FCCP, FAMCP

Mitzi Wasik, Pharm.D., BCPS, FCCP, FAMCP is the Director of Medicare Pharmacy Clinical Programs at Aetna. She oversees clinical pharmacy programs that support the CMS Stars Measures, including Transitional Care, Comorbid Case Management, MTM, SNP, and the Part D Patient Safety Measures. She was an Assistant Professor at Ferris State University as well as adjunct faculty at Western Michigan University from 2002-2005. From 2005-2010 she was a Clinical Assistant Professor at University of Illinois at Chicago in the College of Pharmacy. She practiced in Women’s Health, Family Medicine and Antithrombosis. She has also served ten years in the Army Reserves as a pharmacy technician, EMT and pharmacist. Her clinical experience includes ambulatory care, hospital pharmacy and community pharmacy. She is very involved in the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy and the American College of Clinical Pharmacy, serving on many committees for both organizations. She previously serves on the Board of Directors at AMCP.
