Mitchell Drucker MD

Dr. Mitchell Drucker is a Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of South Florida (USF) Morsani College of Medicine and a board-certified neuro-ophthalmologist at USF Health. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Florida College of Medicine, completed an internship in Internal Medicine at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, an ophthalmology residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, and a fellowship in Neuro-Ophthalmology at Wills Eye Hospital. Dr. Drucker has been certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology since 1987.

With decades of clinical and academic experience, Dr. Drucker specializes in diagnosing and treating disorders affecting the optic nerve, visual pathways, and eye movement. His clinical expertise includes diplopia (double vision), ptosis (drooping eyelids), optic neuropathies, idiopathic intracranial hypertension (pseudotumor cerebri), optic neuritis, ischemic optic neuropathy, myasthenia gravis, and thyroid eye disease. In addition to providing patient care, he is actively involved in teaching medical students and residents and has contributed to research and publications in neuro-ophthalmology.
