Mitchell Douglas Barneck is a biomedical engineer, innovator, entrepreneur, and Emergency Medicine physician. He received his Bachelor of Biomedical Engineering and Chemistry from the University of Utah, his Doctorate of Medicine from Oregon Health and Science University, and completed an Emergency Medicine Residency as well as an Emergency Ultrasound Fellowship at Orlando Health.
Dr. Barneck has innovated with several start-up companies and is the co-founder of LightLine Medical, Inc., which is working to implement high-intensity visible light to treat infected medical devices in vivo. He was previously the VP of Clinical Affairs now a member of the Board of Directors. Mitchell has focused his career on the creation of improved healthcare systems through medical and engineering advancement. He has worked in several research settings including bioengineering, optics, and biology, as well as in clinical medicine. He continues to develop new innovative technologies and publish literature to improve clinical care.
