Mitch Hagins

Mitch lives in Atlanta, is married to Donna and has five children. Before joining Studer Group, he left a successful business career, returned to Toccoa Falls College and completed his degree in biblical studies. He has been a minister, a senior business leader and has received the Studer Group Pillar Award for excellence in coaching on seven different occasions during his tenure with Studer Group. Based on his partners’ results, Mitch achieved coach of the year and received the Fire Starter Award, Studer Group’s highest recognition of coaching excellence.

Mitch is a very well rounded man, with experiences that have prepared him to be an effective coach. His expertise comes from 30 years of healthcare leadership, sales and marketing, strategic planning and upper management. Mitch uses these experiences to lead/coach organizations in Canada including The Ottawa Hospital, St. Joseph’s Health Care London, Sault Area Hospital, Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Hôpital Montfort Hospital, Arnprior Regional Health, Headwaters Health Care Centre and Trillium Health Partners.

Mitch’s partners consistently demonstrate year over year improvement in their pillar goals including patient experience, employee engagement, physician engagement, QIP measures, net income, sick time utilization, core clinical measures and other partner-specific metrics. Because of these results, Mitch retains 100% of Canadian partners annually. Mitch received recognition in 2010-11 Who’s Who of Executives, Professionals and Entrepreneurs. Mitch is also a grandfather to grandsons Tyler, Devin, Caleb and granddaughter, Avalene. Mitch enjoys spending time with each of his three families – those at home, those in Studer Group and those in his partner organizations.
