Mistie Germek PhD

Dr. Mistie Germek is a licensed clinical psychologist with a health service provider designation. She completed her Ph.D. from the University of Denver and her postdoctoral fellowship at the University of California, Davis.

Dr. Germek’s overall focus is on helping people cope with the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that accompany chronic pain. Her goal is to help people improve the quality of their lives through cognitive behavioral approaches that are collaborative, flexible, direct, and person-centered. Through structured sessions, individuals will complete a pain management skills training program to develop strategies to contend with stress, tension, and other emotional situations that may exacerbate pain symptoms.
