Miroslav Bulvas MD, PhD

Dr. Miroslav Bulvas is a Board-Certified Internist and Interventional Angiologist at King´s Vineyards Hospital in Prague, the Czech Republic. He is also a teacher at the Third School of Medicine , Charles University, Prague and currently he holds the post of a Vicepresident of the Czech Society of Angiology.

He earned his medical degree from the First Medical School, Charles University, Prague and his training in cardiology, vascular medicine and intensive care was completed at the Institute of Clinical and Experimental Medicine, Prague.

Now, he serves as clinical consultant in vascular medicine and endovascular therapy and his professional interests include endovascular therapy of acute and chronic limb ischemia, aortic aneurysmal disease, aortic dissection and carotid disease.

His current research program involves mainly mechanical arterial debulking in patients with acute, subacute and chronic ischemia of lower limbs and with this topic he actively participates at CIRSE, Charing Cross, LINC , SIR and other congresses. For many years, he organizes and serves as a proctor in international workshops focused on endovascular therapy and vessel recanalization.
