Mirnela Byku MD, PhD, MBA

Dr. Mirnela P. Byku, MD, PhD, is a cardiologist who specializes in treating patients with heart failure. Her specialties include advanced heart failure therapies such as mechanical circulatory support and heart transplantation. Dr. Byku earned her medical degree and a doctorate in pharmacological and physiological science from St. Louis University in Missouri. She completed her internal medicine internship and residency at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. She then completed a cardiovascular disease fellowship and a postgraduate fellowship in advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology at Washington University in St. Louis.
