Mirko Bischofberger PhD

Mirko Bischofberger moves at the boundaries of science policy and science communication. He was a fellow at the Swiss Parliament where he worked on multiple scientific issues before moving to the Swiss National Science Foundation, where he was the personal assistant of the president. Before that, Mirko was active as a science journalist for the renowned Swiss newspaper “Neue Zurcher Zeitung”. Today he’s independent and among his clients are the University of Zurich, the EPFL, the SNSF and many others. Together with Luc Henry, he launched the Science Booster, the first crowdfunding channel for science in Switzerland. Mirko studied Molecular Biology at the ETH Zurich and holds a PhD from the EPFL.
