Dr. Miriam Vos, MD, MSPH, is a Professor and Associate Chair of Translational Research at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. She is widely recognized for her expertise in metabolic liver disease, with a particular focus on pediatric fatty liver disease and its underlying metabolic drivers.
Dr. Vos’s work bridges clinical care and scientific discovery, advancing translational research aimed at improving the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of liver disease in children. Her research explores the roles of nutrition, insulin resistance, and metabolic dysfunction in the development and progression of liver disease, with the goal of translating findings into effective clinical interventions.
