Dr. Ming-Jung Ho is a professor of the Department of Medical Education & Bioethics, Vice Chairman of the School of Medicine, and Assistant Dean for International Affairs at National Taiwan University College of Medicine. She is also an Affiliate Scholar at University of Toronto’s Wilson Centre. Dr. Ho’s teaching and academic interest lies in the application of anthropology to medical education. She has published articles in Academic Medicine, Medical Education, Medical Teacher, Medical Anthropology Quarterly, and Social Science & Medicine. Her research projects on the theme of cultural competency and professionalism have won prestigious research awards from the Association for Medical Education in Europe, the Taiwan Association of Medical Education, and the National Science Council of Taiwan. She is also the Associate Editor of BMC Medical Education and an International Relations Officer of the Association for Medical Education in Europe
