Mindy E. Goldman MD, MPH

Dr. Goldman specializes in women's health care and gynecology issues for cancer patients and those at risk for cancer. She is the Director of the Gynecology Center for Cancer Survivors and At-Risk Women which is jointly sponsored by UCSF's Carol Franc Buck Breast Care Center and the National Center of Excellence in Women's Health. She is a member of the Helen Diller Comprehensive Cancer Center and works closely with cancer specialists to help ease the gynecologic side effects of cancer treatment. Her clinical expertise focuses on fertility options, safety of pregnancy, side effects of breast cancer hormonal therapies (like tamoxifen and aromatase inhibitors), management options for chemotherapy or treatment induced menopause, vaginal dryness/sexual dysfunction and surgeries to remove ovaries when indicated. She also sees women with other cancer types focusing on similar survivorship issues as well as women with hereditary cancer syndromes, focusing on screening and prevention strategies. She also sees general gynecology patients and provides both office based care and gynecologic surgery when indicated
