Milad Karimi PhD

Milad Karimi is an Associate Director at BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc., Leiden, South Holland, Netherlands. He obtained his PhD from the School of Health and Related Research at the University of Sheffield. His PhD research focused on the underlying values that determine people’s health state preferences and the effect of deliberating on those values on people’s preferences. Before his PhD, Milad graduated with an MSc from the Health Economics, Policy, and Law program at Erasmus University Rotterdam, Netherlands. His dissertation topic was the healthcare utilization costs of patients with chronic diseases who were enrolled in disease management programs in the Netherlands.
