Miki Patterson PhD, ONP

Dr. Miki Patterson has led multidisciplinary teams in over 35 hospitals focused on improving orthopedic and surgical care through national benchmarking, evidenced based practices, and workflow re-design to measurably improve healthcare outcomes for a wide profile of client hospitals and orthopedic service lines.

She is a certified orthopedic nurse practitioner and brings over 25 years of clinical experience in healthcare consulting, direct advanced orthopedic patient care, university-level teaching, quantitative and qualitative NIH research. She has over 30 peer reviewed publications including, three chapters in nursing texts, six research articles.

She is a past president of the National Association of Orthopedic Nurses (NAON) and was recently awarded The Outstanding Contribution to Orthopedic Nursing. She has delivered hundreds of presentations and review courses and continues to be speak nationally and internationally .
