Mike D. Stone MBBS, DM, FRCP

Dr. Mike Stone is a Consultant Physician (specializing in Care of the Elderly) and Director of the Bone Research Unit. Dr. Stone and his team participated in the original oral risedronate and intravenous zoledronic acid studies and were quick to adopt better treatments for patients as soon as they become available. A dedicated nurse-led infusion service followed, and close ties with other research and clinical departments have enabled the service to flourish.
