Mihael Skerlev MD, PhD

Dr. Michael Skerlev, MD, Ph.D., is Attending Dermatovenereologist and Full Professor of Dermatology and Venereology at the Department of Dermatology and Venereology, Zagreb University School of Medicine, and Head of the STI Out-Patient Clinic as well as the Reference Laboratory of Croatia for Dermatological Mycology and Parasitology. He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, Council member and Chair of the Committee for International Development of IUSTI-Europe, member of the Executive Committee of IUSTI World, member of the Board of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV), founding member and President of the STI Society of the Croatian Medical Association, and President of the Croatian Dermatovenereological Society, as well as a member of the Board of Alpe-Danube-Adria-STD Society. Prof. Skerlev has presented more than 200 papers at various international congresses, mostly as an invited speaker on topics in STI and dermatomycology.
