Miguel Montorfano MD

Miguel Montorfano M.D. is Head of the Ultrasound and Doppler Service at the "Dr. Clemente Alvarez" Emergency Hospital in Rosario, Argentina and Teaching Coordinator of Critical Ultrasound.

He is a member of the Committee for Certification and Recertification of General Ultrasound and Vascular Doppler of the Medical College of Rosario.

Dr. Montorfano is a founding member and former President of the Ultrasonography Association of Rosario and former Vice President of FASED (Argentine Federation of Ultrasound and Doppler Societies). Author of two books and several articles on the specialty.

He has been involved in the organization of several training courses in Ultrasound and National and International Congresses during the last 20 years. Member of the Board of Directors and Coordinator for Latin America of Winfocus (World Interactive Network on Focused Ultrasound), an international society dedicated to the teaching and dissemination of Focused Ultrasound in primary care and critical patients.
