Michiyuki Kono MD, JD

Michiyuki Kono, MD attended Harvard University where I studied biochemistry. It was there that I first developed my interest in medicine and orthopedics, as I completed by senior honors thesis on the properties of collagenase, an enzyme implicated in the loss of cartilage during arthritis. He returned home to California for medical school and orthopedic training. While at UCLA, He was able to continue my research studies, working on a gene therapy protocol for creating bone healing cells. He completed my training with a fellowship in hand surgery, and have been with Kaiser Permanente since then.
