Michelle Rice

Michelle is the mother of two sons with severe hemophilia and has been involved in the bleeding disorder community in various capacities for 24 years. She has held various board positions within the hemophilia community including Hemophilia of Indiana, the Indiana Hemophilia & Thrombosis Center and Cascade Hemophilia Consortium. She later served as the Executive Director of Hemophilia of Indiana for nine years.

Her commitment to increasing access to hemophilia patient care, research and awareness through education and coalition building led to her election to the boards of various health care organizations such as the Indiana Comprehensive Health Insurance Association, The Foundation for Complex Healthcare Solutions and Community Health Charities. Michelle's passion for advocacy eventually led to her current position at NHF and she has been with the organization for over five years.
