Michelle Peckham BA, PhD

Michelle is a Reader in Cell Biology (since 2006) and Director of Research Training (since 2005) in the Faculty of Biological Sciences. She researches into muscle development, heart and skeletal muscle disease and molecular motors.

As Research Training Director she is involved in developing and running workshops for both postgraduate students and research fellows to extend the skills that they need to become successful in their chosen careers either as academics or in other professions. These include careers, enterprise and induction workshops as well as running a postgraduate symposium for all of the students in the faculty.
