Michelle Parish RN

Michelle Parish is a McGrath Breast Care Nurse at Goulburn Valley Health. She has been nursing for the last 30 years. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Health Science, a Graduate Diploma in Critical Care, and a Graduate Certificate in Breast Care Nursing. She started her nursing career at the Western General Hospital where she worked in plastics, ENT, and neurology. Michelle then moved to the Royal Melbourne Hospital where she worked in cardiothoracics in the intensive care unit. After this, she moved to Goulburn Valley Health where she worked in the Intensive Care Unit from 2001 until 2008. In 2009, Michelle started working in her current role as the Goulburn Valley Health McGrath Breast Care nurse. The areas she covers are between Shepparton, the Moira Shire, the Strathbogie Shire, as far north as Finley and as far south as Seymour. Michelle feels passionate and privileged to be able to support her patients and their families through one of the most difficult times of their lives. She is also passionate about educating the community about breast awareness.
